ohh man... it's been hot today (over a hundred degrees). that whole "heat wave" thing we were talking about before. HA. that was nothing. we didn't know what we were talking about. today, one of our biggest pleasures having the wind on our sweat!least fun however... was emptying the toilet storage. eew.
we did go to three of thomas kellers restaurants in the napa valley. no big deal or anything.... just... ad hoc. bouchon and the french laundry. (we didn't exactly eat at them. but we did take pictures and longingly gaze)
bouchon bakery though. we did go there. and stocked up on sweets and bread.
(the secret to maintaining my beautiful apple shaped figure.)
after droolville we stopped at a wonderful farm market. the people there were AMAZING! and so was ruthie the cat. she liked lots of attention and to snuggle in a basket full of beef jerky! so precious! and there was the most giant fig tree we've ever seen. unbelievable!!!!
on we went. in the hot hot sun.. with the aid of a cold wet washcloth to cool us down... ohh the simple things in life. how marvelous!
we've ended up in redding now. which is quite fitting cuz of all the sun we've been getting....
